Founded in 1929, Modern Electric Co. is a third-generation, family-owned, full service electrical contractor. Located in Clifton, NJ, our service area includes northern and central New Jersey, as well as Rockland, Orange, and Westchester counties in New York.
For almost 80 years, Modern Electric Co. has provided our customers with unparalleled service in the installation, design, and maintenance of commercial and industrial electrical systems.

Our staff includes professional engineers, project managers, estimators, superintendents, foremen, and journeymen
who know the electrical industry, offering design/build or value engineering ideas to provide installations on time and
